Our Medically Recommended Exercise Pathway is designed for clients who have been cleared or advised by a medical provider to exercise for

  • health maintenance

  • risk reduction

  • or improved quality of life.

​

This pathway supports individuals managing medical considerations by delivering structured, supervised exercise that stays fully within the personal training and fitness scope, while respecting all medical guidelines and restrictions.

How We Work With You

Fitness-Based Assessment & Monitoring

​

We use non-medical, fitness-focused assessments to guide programming and track progress, including:

​

  • Resting heart rate and blood pressure (exercise response monitoring)

  • Body composition and waist measurements

  • Balance and functional strength

  • Cardiovascular capacity and endurance

  • Movement tolerance and exercise confidence

​

These measures help us adjust training safely and effectively over time.

​

Personalized Exercise Programming

​

Your program is designed to:

​

  • Respect medical restrictions

  • Improve exercise tolerance and confidence

  • Support long-term health and daily function

  • Progress gradually and appropriately

​

We adjust exercise — not medical care — and refer back to your provider if concerns arise.

Long-Term Progress & Ongoing Support

This pathway is not automatically permanent, but we understand that some medical conditions require ongoing structure, supervision, or modified exercise.

As your fitness, tolerance, and confidence improve, many—though not all—clients may transition into:

​

  • Continued Personal Training – For general fitness or performance-based goals

  • Fitness Classes – Often the best option for long-term consistency, motivation, and community

​

If approved by your doctor, we’re excited to help you progress into additional fitness pathways.


If not, this pathway may remain the safest and most appropriate option for long-term exercise support—and we are fully committed to supporting you here.
